Men and women can too be friends. And if you are a man and think you can’t be friends with a woman because it would put your marriage in jeopardy, maybe you need to look at the health of your marriage. Don’t judge me by my uterus.
Parental leave is good for individuals, good for families, good for the economy, good for society. There should be more of it for both men and women.
Government has a responsibility to look after the well-being of its citizens. (OK, I said this)
I find that it is most often the people who have made major lifestyle changes that are most bitter and judgemental about other people not making those choices. And if you are bitter and judgemental, could it perhaps be that you are not that happy with the decision you made?
Women, in general, are more accepting of difference than men. Especially in the realms of personal lifestyle choices. Except all the men who read this blog, of course.
I don’t care if my kids hear “and then he kissed me” or even “burning down the house”. My problems with my iPod are about my penchant for (a) obscene musical comedy and (b) explicit songs about shagging.
Things are not always black and white.
Leave your religion out of it. Don’t expect me to make choices based on YOUR religion.
There are probably at least as many ways to be a good parent as there are parents.
Sometimes I overreact.
