I am up to about 1.30 on Friday so far. OMGSOMUCHMORE to say. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to write some of it up on the train to OMGFrankfurt or something, and upload it before I come home.
To continue, briefly, I really liked Le Havre. But the part of the game that I played was the same as previously – about the first third. I kind of muscled in on a game with 3 Polish guys who were the drivers for a company that makes wargaming accessories. They were really nice, and I hope they didn’t mind losing their game ‘splainer for me instead. Sadly, I had to call Mr Game ‘Splainer back because it was time for Agricola to get its IGA and I wanted to be there. Doubly sadly, one of the settings on my camera had changed and EVERY SINGLE PHOTO is awful and blurry.
I’m teaching Le Havre this morning so maybe there will be a chance to see how the endgame progresses.
Met Birgit, a friend of a friend who I have got to know online. That was great too. So many people, so little time.
Discovered a Very Important Piece Of Information. There are incredibly long queues for many of the public toilets at the Messe, especially the ones near the cafeteria. Press Passes, however, let you check out the Neuheitenshow and use the public toilets off those rooms, which are deserted (and also nicer than the ones downstairs). This might be important information for someone 🙂
Have to run. We’re at 2.15 or so Friday.
