Error in English rules is confusing – suggests you can only put aside 1 die after your second throw. Fortunately, the German and French rules are clear.
Nice quick little dice game. Because it’s dice, I will never love love love it. The kids seemed to enjoy it, though.
More of the same lovely components as in Heckmeck.
Now deciding what to play with Fraser tonight. Contenders are Ghost Stories and Dominion. Or maybe the Name of the Rose.
Also translating playeraids for Palais Royale.

Hi Melissa, I always read you blog and your gaming adventure. How can you play all these games? My wife, our friends and me, barely are able to play once a week…And we have no children.

Hi Fabrizio,
I’m still getting over my holiday, so gaming is a priority. And I’ve not gone back to work yet, so work isn’t! 😉 (Also, I am trying to stay awake during the evenings so as to adjust to the new timezone – it hasn’t worked well yet! I am still exhausted!)
By next week, we’ll be back to “*sigh* no games for me tonight,” I am sure. At least Fraser now understands why I don’t usually play games during the week, after having single parented for nearly a month.
We regularly game with friends once a fortnight. As well, we might play a game a week at home – and Fraser goes to a games club most weeks (if he can). This week is definitely unusual.

More of the same lovely components as in Heckmeck.
Does that include wooden dice?
Interesting game. Might try and find a copy. Thanks for the heads-up on the translation error.
