Guest Photographer

Just an album link today. Apparently Otto took the camera in there this afternoon – there are some short videos of her singing a happy song about her new room.

MARVEL! at my daughter’s mad singing skills and fake American accent

WONDER! that we are moving her into a room with such mucky carpet

BE AMAZED! at the mess beside her (current) bed

and LAUGH! as she reads you the names of all the Dr Who figurines that the Bigster has collected.

Photos (by me) at end are of Fraser making a BILLY, with his trusty toolkit. You and I might wonder why that includes a bread knife, but I am sure that Fraser has a reason.

In status updates, the bathroom has now been painted. We have decided to push on with painting corridor and living room, which means that I need to get to emptying them. We’re going to paint around the bookshelves in the corridor as we don’t have the energy to empty them – the builder will leave enough paint to do the wall, should we ever take the shelves down (which will NEVER happen if Fraser has any say in it). Now taking down kids’ artwork and trying to empty the living room of small stuff – including taking all the glasses OUT of the cabinet where we stored them. Sigh.

I have an appointment for someone to collect the kids’ old furniture (freecycled) on Saturday. I also have a taker for the big wall unit, she just needs to let me know when she will come to collect it. She said this weekend, so fingers crossed.

That was great! I love how young children can so easily create a melody and sing free verse about things around them. I believe you have a future rock star on your hands, as well as a film artist. And, I think she is thrilled about her pink room.

That was great. Can I get the rest of that episode of Witch pirated & loaded on the internet too. 🙂

    Breadknife… a better “box cutter”?

Only with Otto singing along, I am afraid. New artistic content and all.
